Test with the Certificate of Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs).

This test is an alternative to the mucosal irritation test performed on rabbit ocular mucosa. In the test, embryonated hen eggs of 10 days of development are used on whose chorioallantoic membrane the substance that will be evaluated as a possible irritant is deposited. Afterwards, the effects are followed and evaluated according to the bleeding, lysis of blood vessels or coagulation, induced by the tested product. The test can be applied to liquid or diluted substances or formulations, solid, particulate, granulated, or paste-like substances.
